| ASC Pledge was created to consolidate data from several pledge sources, and to include hard, soft, and vehicle credits. Hard credits are gifts or pledges associated with a primary donor. Soft credits represent additional donors associated to the same gift. This often happens when a spouse is associated with a gift. One spouse will be given the status of primary donor, and the gift record that includes that spouse ID will be designated the hard credit. A similar record will exist for the other spouse, but the record will be designated a soft credit. This folder contains multiple gift records for the same gift if there are multiple donors. The primary donor will have the Donation Entity_UID equal to the Donor Entity_UID and will have a Donation Credit Type of H. Any secondary donors will have a record where the Donor Entity_UID refers to the secondary donor and where the Donation Entity_UID refers to the primary donor, and the Donation Credit Type will be S. | |
